Unit 32 Assignment 2

Idea one
*Scientist looking at the channel logo on a table
*big bright light shinning down on it
*being examined like an animal
*all you can see is the hands with rubber gloves
*mainly dull and boring colored in the background
*aimed at people who like those shows.

This idea would be more focused on the channels logo and highlight that so people would know what the channels logo looks like, this would be aimed at more younger audience. again this ident will try and be inviting for all audiences and again to try and attract people to the channel for which the ident is for.

Idea 2
*Bins with happy faces
*music plays when there are touched
*3 bins each make different sound
*showing music is in everything
*bright and happy colours

Three bins with faces have like bright nice colors and it is in beat with the music and changes the camera angle from birds eye view to close up. Main colors will be bright like lime green and yellow to show the channel is nice and inviting for all audiences.

Idea 3
*people dancing from different nationalities
*showing music can unite people from different cultures
*again bright and happy
*nice and friendly
*showing he culture of itv
*dancing in different places using green screen
*mainly countries in Europe

This particular ident will be aimed at a large audience probably the largest of the three as it has the most nationalities aimed at it, again it will feature lots of bright colors and be happy and inviting for the audience watching which is probably the aim for the ident.

for all the ideas very brief

Production diary : I looked at idents which were already on the itv channel and ones which were on music channels and tried to merge the two together to get the best of both so that it would appeal to both the audiences who watch itv and music channels like mtv etc .... i also looked at some types of music that may be appropriate for the itv channel i looked at mainstream chart music and then other less known indie tracks, i decide to do mainstream as it would gain the biggest audience and then actually make the itv channel compare with the current big music channels.
